Vice President Joseph Boakai and the United States Ambassador to Liberia, Christine Elder Tuesday discussed a range of social, economic and political issues.
Key among them was a post U.N. Mission in Liberia which the Vice President maintained will be peaceful.
President Boakai acknowledged there were challenges and described the current period as critical especially with the economic downturn.
VP Boakai made the comments at the Capitol Building during an introductory meeting with U.S. Ambassador Elder, who recently took up assignment in Liberia.
