President Ellen Johnson-Sirleaf Tuesday submitted for ratification attached copies of a loan agreement signed between the Liberian Government and the African Development Bank.
The loan agreement submitted to the Legislature is in the tone of 35 million US dollars.
The money will go toward the Mano River Union road development and transport facilitation program.
The President said the loan agreement will also provide additional financing for foreign as well as local currency costs.
The deliberation was followed by a motion filed by Lofa County Representative Clarence Massaquoi for plenary to receive the instrument and turn it over to the Ways Means, Finance and Development Planning committee to report back in two weeks.
